Books in 2018

Book 1 done 👉🏻 book two about to begin. I greatly enjoyed returning to some familiar characters to start 2018. Now let’s delve into some history. #readallthebooks 📖🐛

I decided to make a modest goal of 20 books in 2018. I'm an avid and pretty quick reader, but found last year that the amount of time I had for reading was dwindling away. I think I can count on two hands the amount of books I read last year... and most of that reading was on planes!! 

Book number 2 done 👉🏻 on to book 3 (revisiting another old friend!)! I loved the Code Talkers memoir, and highly recommend it. A very personal and real account of life on the Checkerboard, and time in WWII. Fascinating, sweet, and sad. 📚🐛

I've already been making great headway on that very modest goal... and enjoyed all of my selections so far. My list has included returning to the world of Lisbeth Salander (twice!), diving into the history of Navajo Codetalkers (twice!), and following Professor Langston on a new adventure. On deck is more from the world of Ender, letting Erik Larson take me into the Garden of the Beasts, and some Mary Russel.

Book 3 done 👉🏻 onto book 4. It was great following along with Professor Langston again. This story was no less adventurous, thought provoking, and slightly controversial then his other books. It kept me on my toes, eager to read, and I really enjoyed it. Next we’re going back to WWII and the code talkers! 🐛📖 #meegsreads2018
