ketchup

Its been a busy week, but lets to a quick "ketchup" post.

C25K: I just completed week 5 of Couch to 5K this morning, with a 5 minute warm up walk, a 5 minute cool down walk, and in between... a 20 minute run! I'm so proud. I could not have done that just a few weeks ago, and honestly, I didn't know that I could do it today. But, I had been unsure of plenty of previous days runs, and in the end I always ended up getting them done. Today was no exception. It was not easy, but I did it.

Vegas: I bought my plane tickets. So its officially official, I'm going!

Olympics: We have a bit of Olympic fever in our house. Me more then Trav, but we're all enjoying it. Last night I stayed up a bit late watching the women's individual for gymnastics, and the swimming. Not a Lochte fan here, so it gave me a bit of perverse pleasure that Phelps beat him for that last gold. Swimming, diving, and gymnastics are my favorite... but I love it all.

Work: Busy busy here at work, especially with a coworker of mine going away for 2 weeks. I'm trying to figure out what of his stuff I have to do, and what can wait. Thank goodness August is our slowest month.

Thank goodness its Friday, with a pretty lazy weekend ahead. What are your plans?

  1. Also SO glad for the weekend. But as far as your 20 minute run, I say YES! Isn't it amazing how we can push ourselves? I also have bumped up my workout ... increasing my time on the eliptical and treadmill and reps on all the strength training. And it makes me feel so good.
