house tour!

Finally got around to taking pictures before our party the other weekend... probably the best time to do it since the house was clean and put together (though obviously its now taken me another week to put them into an actual post!). Sorry if some of the pictures are blurry, I was running around a bit and most of the time had a toddler pulling on my leg.

You enter in the living room:

Stairs are to the left:

But lets go straight ahead into the dining room first:

Through the dining room is a corner, then the kitchen. The corner has the door to a deep, though slanty closet:

Its a nice sided kitchen... and it houses my lovely, family and friend covered fridge:

There is also the staircase to our back door, and around the corner, our basement:

Heading upstairs now:

A note about our paint... all the walls in the hallway are painted the same color, but look how differently it looks depending on how the light is hitting it. FYI: Its gray, not blue or white!.

Straight ahead is the bathroom:

Next to that is Gwen's room:

Heading down the hallway...

Next is the office:

Believe it or not, this is our bookshelf AFTER we got rid of four overstuffed paper grocery bags full of books!

Finally, at the end of the hallway is the master bedroom:

Daisy's bed will be where that pile of towels and blankets is, but we're waiting for our linen closet to be useable!

And that is Casa de Meegs!
Its messy and overstuffed, but its home, and I'm pretty pleased with it.  :-)
