Happy September!

I know Autumn doesn't technically start for a little bit yet (2 weeks, 5 days... who's counting), but the arrival of September always gives me a little lift. It brings to mind cooler temps, crisp leaves, pumpkins, apple cider, and to me, just smacks of fresh starts. Maybe because it heralds the beginning of a new school year.

September is all deep reds, lovely vivid oranges, and smooth purples in my mind. Its all I can do to not break out my sweaters, just because. I know that time will be here soon enough, and that makes me smile.

You know I adore autumn, and while October is my favorite month for so many reasons, September is the month that gently kisses everyone else's summer goodnight and ushers in my time of year. I love it for that.
