ugh

So Jan is back in the ER with maybe appendicitis? Maybe something else? So frustrating and aggravating! She deserves a break.  **updated: Jan is on her way home... still in pain, but its not appendicitis or cancer-related.**

Also annoying (sorry to be such a Debbie Downer), but definitely on a lower scale... my stomach has been giving me problems yesterday and today. I woke up yesterday feeling damn happy since Gwen had slept from 7:45 - 10:30, I was back in bed before 11, and she slept until 5 when she came to bed with us! A good night indeed. But happy as I was, I realized after Trav and Gwennie took off, that my stomach did not feel so good. Just achy and a bit nauseous. I ate chicken noodle soup for lunch and tried to take it easy, but I felt much worse by then time I got home that night. I didn't eat much of any dinner, and was in bed by 8:30. Luckily, last night was another great sleep night for Gwen, she slept from 7:30 until 4:45!!! Then she came to bed with us and slept until 6:10ish. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep as well. I woke twice: once at 11:30 when Gwen stirred, but didn't wake, and once at 2:30 when I needed to pee. Unfortunately I couldn't get back to sleep the second time for almost an hour (headachy and body achy). I did fall back asleep after that, but I think I must have had a small fever that broke because when Gwen woke at 4:45, I was bathed in sweat! It was a little gross, but I did feel better afterward.

Today my stomach is still off, though definitely better then it was yesterday. I'm eating light, having some more chicken noodle soup for lunch, and drinking chamomile tea. Hopefully I'll feel better by tomorrow. TGIF though, that's for sure.

Speaking of this weekend, we have a full one ahead. Tomorrow is GG's 2nd birthday party, and I'm really hoping the weather isn't as nasty as they say its going to be. Winter is really making us her bitch this year. Sunday is the SuperBowl, of course.  :-)

To end on a nicer note, today is my little brother's 21st birthday, as well as my Gram's birthday... so a big Happy Birthday E and Happy Birthday Gram!!

And with that, I'm back to crazy, busy, hectic work.
